When you embed Amazon QuickSight into your application, you can set your product apart from the crowd, enhance end-user experiences and satisfaction, and generate new revenue streams. Secure data in Amazon QuickSight with VPC endpoints powered by AWS PrivateLink

AWS PrivateLink interface VPC endpoints provide private connectivity between a QuickSight website, VPCs, or on-premises networks without exposing traffic to the public internet. Traffic between the VPC and the website doesn’t leave the Amazon network, and all communication between the VPC and the website is kept private within AWS, making sure the data in QuickSight is kept secure. Administrators can also use VPC endpoint policies to restrict access to QuickSight accounts that are not authorized on their network. In this post, we show how to establish end-to-end private connectivity from users on premises to a QuickSight website using VPC endpoints and AWS Direct Connect.

New: June sessions of the Amazon QuickSight Learning series

This June, we begin our summer sessions for the QuickSight Learning Series! The first week we’ll dive deep into how you can get started learning about QuickSight and the new Amazon Q capabilties through our learning dashboard. This is the perfect session for QuickSight beginners or those interested getting started with QuickSight. Then, we’ll learn what pixel-perfect multi-page reporting is with our Product Manager and how you can leverage it in your account. Build with cross-sheet filters and controls in Amazon QuickSight

Amazon QuickSight is a cloud-powered, serverless, and embeddable business intelligence (BI) service that makes it straightforward to deliver insights to everyone in your organization. As a fully managed service, QuickSight lets you create and publish interactive dashboards that can then be accessed from any device and embedded into your applications, portals, and websites. QuickSight is expanding filter and control functionality. Previously, a filter could be scoped to a single visual, some visuals, all of the visuals for a dataset on a sheet, or all applicable visuals on a sheet. With the launch of cross-sheet filters and controls, authors can now create, delete, and edit filters that apply to multiple sheets. Previously, cross-sheet filters could be created with parameters in over forty clicks. With the expansion in functionality, they can be created in just five clicks, which shows how much this new feature simplifies setting up filters and controls that impact multiple sheets.
